Load at Your Property, Store Off Site & Request Redelivery
We provide portable storage containers for Hickory households and businesses that need belongings moved out of the way without making repeated trips to a conventional storage space. We deliver the container to your property, let you load it at your own pace, and pick it up for storage at our secured off-site facility.
Choose from 12-, 16-, and 20-foot containers for local moves and other storage needs. When you need the stored container again, contact us to discuss access and redelivery.

How Secure Off-Site Storage Works
At Go Mini's of Hickory, we offer competitively priced portable storage containers that you can keep on your property or request to have stored off site. A secure moving container near Hickory gives you control of the loading schedule while our team handles container delivery, pickup, storage, and requested redelivery.
After you choose a container, we deliver it to your home or office so that you can pack everything at your leisure. Once you notify us that the container is ready, we pick it up and place it at our secure storage facility. Customers reviewing location information can also visit our pages for Morganton, then confirm service availability for their specific address.
Our off-site storage facility uses security controls designed for stored portable containers. These are facility features and do not eliminate every possible storage risk.
Our off-site storage service includes:
24-hour monitoring: CCTV monitors the storage location around the clock.
Authorized access: Facility access is restricted to authorized staff.
Flexible storage periods: Keep the container in storage for the period that fits your project or transition.
Competitive pricing: Request a quote based on container size, delivery needs, storage duration, and redelivery.
Portable Storage for Homes & Businesses
Whether you need to store overstock inventory, holiday decorations, sensitive documents, or home furniture, we offer container sizes for a range of residential and business needs. Portable storage can also clear space during a home renovation, downsizing project, property staging, local move, or temporary inventory overflow. Belongings should be packed and protected appropriately for the expected storage period.
Flexible rental periods let you align storage with the length of your move, renovation, or business transition rather than rushing to meet a predetermined removal date.
Accessing a Container During Off-Site Storage
You don’t have to move individual belongings into and out of a separate storage space. If you need access after off-site storage begins, contact our team to request that we bring the stored container back to you.
Once the container is redelivered, you can retrieve what you need and ask us to pick it up again. Scheduling, delivery locations, availability, and any applicable charges should be confirmed with our team when you request access.
Container Construction Designed for Portable Storage
Security includes more than facility access. Our portable storage containers use galvanized steel construction and advanced security features, while their weather-resistant design helps limit exposure to dirt and moisture.
The containers are ventilated and positioned eight inches off the ground to help reduce moisture and possible water damage. Ground-level loading makes it easier to move belongings into the container, and padded wheels help protect driveways and other surfaces during placement.
Customers comparing Hickory storage costs can request a quote without hidden mileage charges, tolls, fuel costs, or insurance prices. The final quote can account for the selected container size, delivery and pickup requirements, expected storage period, and requested redelivery.
Businesses can use portable containers for records, equipment, or temporary inventory overflow. Our guide for a small business owner needing to store excess inventory covers commercial storage applications, and our team can confirm an appropriate container size and service availability.
For additional area context, review our Morganton service information. Because service details can depend on the delivery address, confirm availability directly with us before scheduling.

Great solution for remodeling
Friends for Animals Humane Society of Burke County is using the Go Minis of Hickory portable storage at our shelter. I watched the driver deliver it on our property and he was extremely professional and conscientious while placing the storage container. He made sure the container was expertly placed and leveled so that our contents were easily put into the container. This company is a great solution for our remodeling of our Wags to Riches store. It allows us to have on-site storage, for a temporary time, to get our project completed. Thank you so much from our fur babies and staff! 🐈🐕🐈⬛🐩
