We deliver mobile storage containers to Sycamore, IL addresses and let you take it from there. Load at your own pace, then call us when you’re ready. We’ll pick up the container and transport it to your next location or move it to our secure off-site storage facility until you need it back. No truck rental. No rushed timelines. No multiple trips to a fixed facility.
Go Mini's of Northern Illinois serves residential homeowners and commercial businesses throughout Sycamore and DeKalb County. Whether you’re in the middle of a move, clearing rooms for a renovation, or managing inventory for your business, we have a container size that fits the job.
We’re locally owned and operated, which means we understand what Sycamore customers actually need, and we can respond when plans change. Our containers feature padded wheels that protect your driveway and property from damage during delivery and pickup. That’s a detail that matters when a 12-foot steel container is sitting in front of your home for weeks.
Pricing is straightforward: no hidden fees, no mileage charges, no fuel surcharges, no tolls, no insurance costs added at the last minute. Rental periods are flexible. Keep the container as long as your project requires without being pressured by daily rates. Our superior patented container design is built for durability and ease of use, and you have two storage options: keep the container on your property for immediate access, or have us transport it to our secure off-site facility until you need it back.
Container Sizes & Construction
We offer three container lengths to match the scale of your project. Use our online storage calculator to find the right fit before you order.
Container Sizes by Room Capacity
12-foot: Fits 2–3 rooms worth of belongings
16-foot: Fits 3–4 rooms worth of belongings
20-foot: Fits 5–6 rooms worth of belongings
How Our Containers Are Built
All containers are eight feet high with eight inches of ground clearance to help prevent water from reaching your belongings. Loading is at ground level, so there’s no ramp and no lifting items over a threshold. That matters when you’re moving furniture or heavy equipment.
Our containers are vented to reduce moisture and humidity, which is especially relevant across the seasonal swings of a Northern Illinois climate. Steel-welded frames and galvanized steel exterior finished with factory-baked paint prevent sweating on interior walls. Pressure-treated and sealed flooring handles moisture at the base. Locking roll-up or swing doors keep contents secure, and sturdy railings for tie-downs and clothes hangers run along the interior. The 20-foot container offers 29% more cubic feet than Pods’* largest container.
Common Uses for Portable Storage Containers in Sycamore
Our containers support a wide range of projects for homeowners and businesses throughout the area.
Home renovation and remodeling: Clear out a kitchen, bathroom, or entire floor without hauling furniture off-site. Belongings stay close and protected while work is underway
Local moves: Pack on your schedule instead of a mover’s. We deliver, you load, and we can transport the container to your new address when you’re ready
Decluttering and seasonal storage: Free up space in your home for lawn equipment, patio furniture, and seasonal items without committing to a fixed facility
Commercial and business storage: Manage inventory, handle an office transition, or keep materials on-site during a commercial build-out
On-Site or Off-Site: Your Choice
Once your container is loaded, you decide where it goes. Keep it on your property in Sycamore for quick, ongoing access whenever you need to add or retrieve items. Or call us, and we can transport the loaded container to our secure off-site facility, where your belongings stay protected from the elements and completely out of your way. When you’re ready, we can redeliver to whatever address you specify.
The off-site option works well for customers between homes, those without room to keep a container on their property, or anyone who wants their space back while a project wraps up.
