Go Mini’s of NY, NJ and CT is a locally focused portable moving & storage company that has been serving the region since 2005. We place a high emphasis on customer service by prioritizing responsiveness and availability to our customers at all times.
We offer 3 different size, 100% galvanized steel, waterproof units. All units are 8’ wide and 8’ high. The shortest being a 12’, the medium 16’, and the largest 20’. The 20’ unit is a size many of our competitors don’t offer and provides the capability for customers to move and store an entire household of furniture with just one unit.
Our Journey: 50+ Years in Moving & Storage
John Clancy and his family have been in the moving & storage industry for 50+ years. When John first saw a portable storage container he knew that it was a moving & storage solution that was here to stay, and immediately wanted to get involved. That was 2005 and after years of positive feedback and growth John remains as passionate as ever about his decision to get involved with Go Mini’s!
Comprehensive Service Areas: NY, NJ, & CT
In New York, we service 6 counties: Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Rockland. We service the entire state of Connecticut. In New Jersey, we service Bergen County.
The 9 counties we service make up what is known as the greater tri state area. This area covers all borders of New York City. Due to our proximity to NYC, our area is naturally heavily populated with people constantly on the move. We understand this aspect of our territory and do our best to make all parts of the customer journey from initial contact to us, all the way to move out day as effortless as possible for our customers.
Meet John Myron, Our General Manager
John Myron is the General Manager of Go Mini's of Westchester County, NY. Coming to us in early 2022, John has an extensive history of responsiveness, proactiveness, and customer service. He began his career in a family-owned fire safety equipment business, where he honed his attention to detail and made it his mission to always go above and beyond for his clients. For John, helping a company grow is a top priority, which made him a natural fit for our Go Mini’s team. We are thrilled to see what his knowledge and intrigue surrounding the self-storage and portable storage industry can do for our mission of delivering fast service with top-notch customer care. In his free time, John enjoys going to the gym, reading, writing, making trips to the lake, and exploring Connecticut and New York’s many breweries in search of the perfect pint.
Dana Farese: Ensuring Customer Satisfaction
Dana is the customer service representative for Go Mini's. Dana joined Go Mini's in 2018 while completing her Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Connecticut State University. Dana's first priority is to ensure high customer satisfaction. She is self-motivated and is involved with the day-to-day operations. Additionally, she manages the local social media for Go Mini's and is available during business hours to help schedule your Go Mini today!
Heather Thomas: Ensuring Customer Satisfaction
Heather joined the Go Mini's family in 2021, bringing her wealth of customer service experience from 30+ years in the hospitality industry. Heather is passionate about taking the time to connect with customers, making sure they feel at ease with all their storage, moving, or renovation needs. Her dedication to exceptional service shines through in everything she does - we joke that she has a VIP fan club because her friendly demeanor keeps customers coming back!
Jim Carey: Driving Brand Growth in the Tri-State Area
Jim is a Manager at GO Mini’s NY NJ CT. In 2005, Jim helped launch the Go Mini brand in the tri state area for the Clancy family. Today, he oversees an aggressive team, and his primary focus is on helping the team grow the Go Mini's brand in the NY/NJ/CT area.

Lyndsey joined the Go Mini’s team in 2026, bringing four years of customer service experience and a genuine passion for helping people. Would give 6 stars if I could! I was left in a huge conundrum when a competitor (ahem, PODS) no-called, no-showed after booking months in advance in order to avoid this exact situation. Our home was set to undergo a major renovation in 2 days and all of our first-floor belongings were to be moved. One small problem, though — with PODS no-calling/no-showing, we were left with no place to put household contents. Enter Go Mini's. John Myron was a literal knight in shining armor, answering my email at nearly 10pm and setting me up with a Go Mini's the next day. He walked me through the entire process and connected me with the driver, who provided a clear and timely arrival window. The location of a pod was a bit of a tight squeeze considering the layout of my shared driveway, but the driver navigated seamlessly and placed the Go Mini's in the perfect spot. When our renovation ran a couple of weeks over, as renovations do, they prorated the remaining month and came to pick up the pod within a day or two of calling. Outstanding customer service. No BS, just real service. Do yourself a favor and use Go Mini's!

Phenomenal service, price, and delivery. I sent requests for quotes on storage containers and some companies never responded or were very pricey. I was also looking for an option to store the entire unit at their facility for a year and they were the only company with that option. The customer service is very responsive. Prices were the best and the sales reps John and Heather went above and beyond to the finest detail to make sure all of my needs were met. The delivery driver Matt was very helpful in placing the containers where they needed to go perfectly. I would highly recommend them for storage needs. If I could give 10 stars, I would.
