Secure Off-Site Storage clears valuable space without forcing you to rush through loading or unloading. With Go Mini's of Southern New England, Providence, RI households and businesses can load a portable container at their own pace before we pick it up and place it in our monitored storage location.
Our locally owned and operated business supports moves, renovations, and business transitions that require temporary or longer-term space. Your belongings remain packed inside the same container while it’s stored away from your property and available for scheduled redelivery. The approach is simple: You Pack, We Store!
Call (508) 501-9144 to discuss Secure Off-Site Storage and choose a container for your space requirements.
How Off-Site Storage in Providence Works
We coordinate container delivery, pickup, storage, and redelivery while you control the packing and unloading schedule. You don’t have to complete everything in a single day because the container remains at your location until you’re ready for pickup.
The service follows four straightforward stages:
Select Your Container: Choose from the available container sizes based on the amount of space you need.
Receive Delivery: We deliver and place the portable storage container at your location.
Load On Your Schedule: Pack your belongings while the container remains on your property until pickup.
Move Into Storage: We pick up the loaded container and transport it to our secure off-site storage location.
This process works for household belongings, renovation materials, or office contents that need to be kept out of the way. When you’re ready to unload, we can return the same container to your property.
Container Security & Weather Protection
Our secure storage process combines advanced security features with durable container construction. Secure locking mechanisms, 24/7 storage-facility monitoring, and regular inspections protect belongings while containers are in storage.
Each container has weatherproof construction that helps shield its contents from the elements. Ventilation reduces the moisture and humidity that can contribute to mold and mildew. Containers also sit eight inches off the ground to help avoid possible water damage.
Portable Storage Containers in Three Sizes
Choose a container based on how much space your belongings currently occupy. We offer three options for residential and commercial storage needs, from clearing several rooms to preparing for a larger property transition.
Available sizes and stated capacity ranges include:
12-Foot Container: Fits belongings from up to 800 square feet of space.
16-Foot Container: Fits belongings from approximately 800 to 1,200 square feet of space.
20-Foot Container: Fits belongings from approximately 1,200 to 1,600 square feet of space.
The 20-foot moving container is our roomiest option. These ranges provide useful guidance, but the right choice depends on the volume and arrangement of the belongings you plan to store. We can help you compare sizes before arranging delivery.
Flexible Storage Periods & Transparent Pricing
Storage needs don’t always follow a fixed timeline. Our flexible rental periods allow you to keep your container longer when a move, renovation, or business transition takes more time than expected.
We provide transparent monthly pricing without hidden fees, surprise rate changes, or confusing fine print. If you need the container longer than planned, your monthly price doesn’t change simply because the rental period has been extended.
Arrange Secure Storage in Providence

Retrieving Belongings from Off-Site Storage
You can have your stored container returned to your property when you’re ready to retrieve your belongings. We schedule container redelivery when you’re prepared to unload, allowing you to work through the contents at your location.
Customer access control is used to protect items held in secure storage. After redelivery, you retrieve and unload your belongings. Once you’ve finished, we pick up the container again.

Quick, easy, and virtually hassle-free!
We had a great experience with Go Mini's of Southern New England from start to finish! Pricing was very transparent and Sam's service was excellent throughout. Sam's dad was terrific during delivery, and the driver who picked up the container was equally professional, courteous, and especially considerate of our lawn and yard. The entire process was quick, easy, and virtually hassle-free. Everything was handled efficiently, and the turnaround was impressively fast. For our short-term storage needs, Go Mini's was exactly what we were looking for. I'd absolutely recommend them!

Sam and his family built something special!
We had an incredible experience with Go Mini's!
Moving is stressful enough, but from the very first conversation with Sam, we felt like we were working with someone who really cares! This was not just a service but a relationship built on trust, kindness, and making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Sam is part of our family.
He and his team, and Scott — BTW, was exceptional on our last Mini that was dropped off; he really loves his job! From Sam to Scott, they have a why behind the company! Their communication, flexibility, and attention to detail were beyond what we expected.
The pricing was also outstanding and beat every other option out there. Besides their why, they do Go Mini's from their heart. They aren't just moving people's belongings; they are helping families through major moments in their lives.
Sam and his family have built something special: a company based on trust, care, and doing things the right way.
If you are looking for a storage and moving solution where you are treated like a person instead of a number, I highly recommend Go Mini's of Southern New England. They are truly extraordinary!
The Rhodes Family — ever grateful!
