Each of our three container sizes is built for a different scope of project. Here’s what to expect from each one.
12-Foot Container
The 12-foot container is a strong match for smaller loads: the contents of a studio apartment, a dorm room, or a single medium-sized room. It can hold small appliances like a compact refrigerator or a washer/dryer combo, along with outdoor equipment or miscellaneous belongings you need off-site during a renovation or transition.
16-Foot Container
Step up to the 16-foot container for a moderately sized condo or apartment. This size handles larger furniture comfortably, including sofas, bed frames, dressers, and dining tables. It’s the practical choice for multi-room projects where the 12-foot would feel tight.
20-Foot Container
The 20-foot container is our largest option and the right call for full-house moves or projects spanning several rooms. It gives you enough space to keep essentials and more secure and organized in one easy-to-access container. Large families or anyone downsizing from a full home typically find this size fits the job without leaving items behind.
How to Choose Between the Three Sizes
Start with the number of rooms you’re moving or storing and how much furniture is involved. A single-room renovation or decluttering project usually fits the 12-foot container. A two-to-three-room move or condo relocation tends to fit the 16-foot. Anything larger generally calls for the 20-foot. I had the 20x8x8 unit in my backyard for about a year. The delivery and pickup was wonderful, they worked with me and my schedule so I didn’t have to take off from work. Had it delivered and picked up on a Saturday. The fact that it was in my yard made loading and unloading the unit so convenient I could work at my own pace. Recommend them highly.
