Moving or renovating in Allen, Texas doesn’t have to mean rental trucks and tight deadlines. Go Mini's of McKinney is a locally owned and operated business serving Allen and the surrounding Collin County area with portable storage containers delivered directly to your address. Whether you’re moving across town or clearing out space for a project, we bring the container to you so you can load on your own schedule.
Allen sits north of downtown Dallas in one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas. Homeownership rates are high, real estate moves quickly, and residents consistently need practical ways to manage belongings during moves, renovations, and transitions. Door-to-door container delivery fits that lifestyle because it eliminates the back-and-forth trips a traditional storage facility requires.

How Moving Containers Work for Allen Customers
The process is straightforward. We deliver the container to the Allen location you choose: your driveway, yard, or another accessible spot on your property. From there, you load everything at your own pace. There’s no same-day pressure, no crew waiting, and no clock running out on you.
Once you’re ready, we pick up the container and either transport it to your new location or move it to our secure off-site storage facility. When you need access again, we can redeliver it on your schedule. Flexible rental periods mean you can keep the container as long as your project or move requires, without being pushed into a rushed timeline.
What Sets Our Containers Apart
Not all portable storage containers are the same. A few details make a real difference when the container is sitting in your driveway for days or weeks.
Driveway-Safe Delivery: Our containers are delivered on padded wheels that protect your driveway and property surfaces during placement and pickup.
Off-Ground Design: Containers sit 8 inches off the ground to help keep moisture from reaching your belongings.
Ventilated Construction: Built-in ventilation reduces humidity inside the container, limiting the conditions that contribute to mold and mildew.
Sizes Up to 20 Feet: We offer a range of container sizes to match the scale of your project, from a single-room cleanout to a full-home move.
Transparent Pricing: Our quotes include no hidden fees, mileage charges, fuel costs, tolls, or added insurance costs.
Local Team: We’re locally owned and operated. You’re working with people who know Collin County, not a national call center.
When Allen Residents Use Portable Storage Containers
Portable storage containers fit a wide range of situations. Some of the most common uses we see from Allen customers include:
Home Renovation Projects: Keep furniture and belongings out of work areas without cramming everything into another room. A container in the driveway keeps the job site clear and your things accessible when you need them.
Home Sale Staging: Decluttering before listing is one of the most effective ways to show a home well. A moving storage container lets you move excess items out of sight while the home is on the market.
Local Moves: Families relocating within Allen or moving to Allen from other parts of Collin County can load across multiple days rather than scrambling through a single moving-day rush.
Business Storage: Contractors, retailers, and other businesses use our containers to store equipment, supplies, and inventory when on-site or off-site space runs short.
Container Sizes for Local Projects
Choosing the right container size before delivery keeps your costs predictable and avoids the need for a second container mid-project. We offer multiple sizes, with options going up to 20 feet.
As a general guide, smaller containers work well for single-room renovations, garage cleanouts, or staging a few rooms. Larger containers handle full-home moves and whole-house renovation projects where you need to clear out significant square footage at once.
Not sure how much space you need? Use the storage calculator on our site to estimate based on what you plan to store. It’s a quick way to land on the right size before you request a quote.

Levon Was Amazing
Levon was amazing! I ordered a 12 ft unit and they delivered a 20 ft unit, which I specifically told them I did not want, even for the same price. I just had a small amount of items to store. Levon took the 20 ft and brought me back a smaller one. He had to drive quite a way and did not get back till after 6 p.m. but was cordial and so nice and explained everything to me. Dropped it exactly where I wanted the pod. He was awesome! Kudos to him for bringing exemplary service. Thanks, Levon.

Leon was our driver. He did amazing.
Leon was our driver. He did amazing dealing with the incline our house is on, parked cars, and garbage cans. Showed up on time and very respectful.
I do feel the company could do better by letting the drivers know when a house has an inclined driveway, so they could be more prepared and know that it'll take a bit longer of finessing.
