You choose what works for your situation: keep the container on your property during your project, or have us transport it off-site when you’re done packing. We own and operate Go Mini's of Broward County locally, serving residential and commercial customers throughout the county, including Fort Lauderdale and Davie.
Our containers are available in 12-foot, 16-foot, and 20-foot lengths, and each container is 8 feet high. Flexible rental periods support temporary projects, moves, renovations, inventory storage, and longer storage needs.
Container selection is based on the volume and type of belongings you plan to store. Delivery scheduling and placement also account for calendar availability, clearance, access, and the layout of your property.
The storage process includes:
Reserve: Choose from 12-foot, 16-foot, and 20-foot sizes depending on how much you need to store.
Pack: We deliver the container to your specified location. You pack at your own pace with no deadline pressure.
Store: When you’re ready, schedule pickup. The loaded container can remain at your property, move to another address, or go to our secure off-site storage location.
Access: Need to retrieve something? We’ll return the container to your property for easy retrieval and then pick it up again when you’re done.
Rental periods are flexible with no strict due dates. You can extend or shorten the rental period as your project timing changes, subject to scheduling availability.
Steel Storage Containers for South Florida Conditions
Broward County’s humidity, heavy rain, and ground-level water make container construction and placement important considerations. Our portable storage containers are made from steel and designed for outdoor use.
Ventilation & Padlock Security
Multiple ventilation points help reduce moisture buildup inside the container. Each container is secured with your padlock, and you retain control of the key while the container is on-site or stored off-site.
Moisture-sensitive belongings may need additional preparation before storage. Use packing materials appropriate for each item, keep boxes stable, and avoid placing vulnerable belongings where incidental moisture could collect.
Elevated Design & Driveway Protection
Containers are elevated 8 inches off the ground, which can help reduce exposure to standing water at ground level. Their ground-level loading design avoids ramps and steep inclines when you’re packing. Padded wheels help protect your driveway and paved surfaces during delivery and placement.
Optional Off-Site Storage
When on-site placement isn’t practical, containers can be transported to a secure off-site location. This option is often chosen by homeowners between properties or businesses that need to free up parking and loading areas. Containers remain locked with your own padlock.
Because the loaded container itself is moved, there’s no need to unload and reload boxes into a different storage space later. Off-site storage can be useful during renovations, transitions between properties, inventory changes, or projects where driveway and loading-area space is limited.

Flexible Long-Term Portable Storage
For belongings that don’t require frequent access, long-term storage is available through a portable container kept on-site or at our secure off-site location. Common uses include archived records, seasonal equipment, and household belongings during extended travel.
Before choosing long-term storage, consider how often you’ll need the belongings, how each item should be packed, and whether you’ll need an aisle for retrieval. Flexible rental periods allow the storage timeline to change as your plans develop.
Portable Storage Container Placement for Davie Properties
Driveway dimensions, overhead clearance, paved-surface access, and property layout can affect where a container can be placed. Discuss these details before delivery so the selected container size and placement area are practical for your property.
Under Davie’s residential provisions, portable storage containers are generally limited to one per lot, must be placed on a driveway or another paved surface, and may remain for up to 30 calendar days per calendar year. These provisions also define residential containers as no more than 8 feet wide, 16 feet long, and 8 feet high.
Other placements may require site plan approval or a temporary use permit. Homeowners association rules can also apply. Verify current town, property, and homeowners association requirements before scheduling a secure storage container for your Davie property, particularly if you’re considering a 20-foot container or an extended rental period.
