How the Process Works for a Marion Local Move
We deliver your portable storage container to your Marion property at a time that works for you. From there, the pace is entirely yours. Take a day, a weekend, or longer to load your belongings before we schedule pickup.
Once you’re packed and ready, we can transport the container to your new address. If the timing isn’t right, we can hold the container at our secure off-site storage facility and redeliver it when you give us the word. Our containers sit eight inches off the ground and use padded wheels during placement and pickup, so your driveway and property stays protected throughout.
Container Sizes for Every Marion Move
We offer three container sizes to match the scale of your move:
12-foot container: A good fit for studio or one-bedroom moves and smaller loads
16-foot container: Well-suited for two- to three-bedroom homes
20-foot container: Handles full-house moves and larger household volumes
Every container is built with steel siding and a secure locking mechanism to protect your belongings. Built-in ventilation reduces moisture and humidity buildup during transport and storage.
Why Marion, NC Residents Choose Go Mini's of Asheville
With more than 20 years of experience, we’ve built our reputation on reliable service and straightforward pricing. As a locally owned business, we focus on relationships, not transactions. Competitive pricing keeps portable container delivery accessible whether you’re moving a single room or an entire household.
Security, Flexibility, & Off-Site Storage
Every container features steel construction and a secure locking mechanism to protect your belongings from pickup through redelivery. Rental periods are flexible: keep the container as long as your move requires, without feeling rushed to return it on a set day.
If you need a gap between leaving your current home and moving into the next, our secure off-site storage facility gives you that breathing room. We can hold your container and redeliver it to your new Marion address whenever you’re ready. Our team can walk you through every step so there are no surprises along the way.

Portable Containers vs. Truck Rentals for a Local Move
A traditional rental truck gives you one day to load, drive, and unload. That works for some moves, but it puts every task on the same tight schedule: lining up helpers, packing everything in advance, and returning the truck on time. A portable storage container separates those steps.
With a Go Mini’s container, you load over whatever timeframe fits your life, whether that’s a few days or a few weeks, before we schedule transport. That flexibility can take the pressure off coordinating a single moving day and give you more control over how the move unfolds.
Marion Business Moves & Commercial Use
We serve both homeowners and businesses throughout McDowell County. If your Marion business is relocating an office or needs temporary space for inventory or equipment during a transition, a portable storage container can bridge that gap cleanly. The same flexible rental periods and secure construction that work for residential moves apply equally to commercial use.

I Am Completely Satisfied With Go Mini's
Hayden met my every expectation from the moment she picked up my call. She was quick to answer my questions and provided me with exceptional service. My 20’ container was delivered the same day I called for help. Gary, delivery person, exceeded my expectations as well. He took the time and effort to place the container exactly where I needed it. I am completely satisfied with Go Mini's! I will use them for all of my future storage needs and share my experience with friends and colleagues. I’m grateful to have looked into my options and find such a professional company, Go Mini's.
Unfortunately, I was truly let down by the competition, POD's. They moved their agreed-to delivery date and rescheduled my delivery four days later. This resulted in time and $$ having to bring my packers and movers back for a second day to load my container.

As someone who hosts large events, having a reliable storage solution makes such a huge difference. I honestly couldn’t host my events as efficiently as I do without them. They are dependable, professional, and always make the process easy from start to finish.
I highly recommend Go Mini’s of Asheville to anyone looking for convenient, reliable, and affordable storage solutions. They’ve been such a wonderful company to work with!
