For a more useful estimate, consider:
Room count: Include bedrooms, living spaces, offices, garages, and other areas containing belongings you plan to load.
Furniture volume: Account for sofas, dining sets, mattresses, dressers, shelving, and other large pieces.
Box quantity: Estimate packed boxes realistically, including items stored in closets, cabinets, and attics.
Project scope: Distinguish between belongings being stored during a renovation and everything included in a household move.
Treat the result as a planning aid rather than a packing guarantee. Irregularly shaped furniture, fragile belongings, and items that can’t be stacked may require more room than their dimensions suggest.
Choosing the Right Moving & Storage Container Size
12 Foot Container: Ideal for smaller spaces, holding contents for 2–3 rooms. Perfect for dorm room or studio relocations, low-volume inventory stocking, and small home or business projects like minor renovations.
16 Foot Container: Designed for mid-sized needs, offering storage capacity for 3–4 rooms. Great for condo and apartment moves as well as mid-sized home projects, such as single-room renovations.
20 Foot Container: Built for large-scale projects, accommodating 4–6 rooms or a complete full-home move. Suitable for extensive construction projects, full-home remodels, and high-volume business or equipment storage.
Ground-Level Containers Make Loading Easier
Capacity is only part of choosing a container. Ours sit at ground level, reducing the height you need to navigate while carrying boxes and furniture. Padded wheels help protect driveways and other surfaces during placement, while flexible rental periods let you keep the container as long as needed without pressure from a fixed return date.
Once you’ve selected a container, we coordinate delivery to your location. You load on your schedule, then we pick up the container when you’re ready. We can take it to your new location or place it in secure off-site container storage until you need it again. Our portable storage containers also include advanced security features to protect the belongings inside.

I Would Recommend Go Mini's to Others
This was my first time using Go Mini's for a home project where I had to remove a lot of items from my house. The delivery was a quick, simple drop-off in my driveway (less than 10 minutes). We used the storage for about 3 months. Our items were protected from the weather, insects, and theft (we used our own lock). When we completed its use, we scheduled the pickup; the driver arrived within the scheduled time window. The driver, Miles Towns, was very courteous and picked the unit up in less than 10 minutes. I wish I could remember the drop-off driver so I could mention his name. I would recommend Go Mini's to others and if I have another project I will use them again. Thanks, Go Mini's!!!
