How the Go Mini’s Process Works
Getting started takes three steps.
Book Your Container: Reserve online or by phone. Choose the 12-foot, 16-foot, or 20-foot size that fits your household. Planning a few weeks out helps secure your preferred delivery date, though we can often accommodate shorter-notice requests depending on availability.
Pack at Your Own Pace: We deliver the container to your door. Load on your own timeline and keep it as long as you need. No moving crew, no clock running against you.
We Deliver to Your New Doorstep: When you’re ready, we pick up the loaded container and deliver it to your new home. If your new home isn’t available yet, we hold the container at our secure off-site storage facility until you say the word.

For service members doing a PPM, keeping actual moving costs below the government’s estimated cost for a contracted mover may allow you to keep the difference as additional reimbursement. The U.S. government reimburses PPMs up to 100% of what it would have paid a government-contracted mover. Because our pricing is straightforward and rental periods are flexible, families aren’t locked into a rigid timeline that could help drive up unexpected costs if PCS dates change. Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, home of the 4th Fighter Wing and 916th Air Refueling Wing, generates consistent PCS movement throughout the Goldsboro area year-round. We serve military families across Wayne County, including those arriving at or departing from Seymour Johnson AFB.

I recently had the opportunity to use the container moving services of a company called Go Mini, and it was very successful. For the first part of the move I used one of the big, brand name companies, which was costly and offered little flexibility in terms of delivery times—5–7 days is the best they could do. But Go Mini was less expensive and much better service: 4 days, point to point with very accommodating scheduling. That's good, but even better are the people: from the regional manager, Ben, to the office staff, Luisa, and finally the driver, Scott; people like Scott are the real face of the company interacting with the customer: pleasant, friendly, and in direct phone contact to ensure he met my schedule requirements. Made this tough relocation challenge successful.
