We offer 12-foot, 16-foot, and 20-foot portable storage containers for household moves, renovations, decluttering projects, and business transitions. The right fit depends on the volume of your belongings, the amount of large furniture or appliances, and the space needed for stacking and access.
After you choose a size, we deliver the container to your location for loading at your pace. We can then move the loaded container to a new location or place it in secure off-site storage until you need redelivery.

Portable Storage Container Size Guide
Published square-footage guidance is a useful starting point, but it can’t guarantee that every item from a particular space will fit. Furniture, appliances, boxes, and the layout of your load all affect usable capacity.
12-Foot Container
Our 12-foot container fits contents from spaces of up to 800 square feet. It may be right for a smaller move, single-room renovation, decluttering project, or limited storage need.
16-Foot Container
The 16-foot container is designed for contents from approximately 800 to 1,200 square feet. Consider it for a mid-size household move or multi-room project involving more furniture, appliances, and boxes.
20-Foot Container
Our largest portable storage container accommodates contents from approximately 1,200 to 1,600 square feet. The added capacity can suit a larger household move, extensive renovation, or commercial storage project with a greater volume of contents.
If your belongings fall near the upper end of the 16-foot range, choosing the 20-foot container can provide more usable loading space. Consider the full volume of your belongings rather than floor area alone, particularly if you have bulky furniture or appliances.
PODS* lists 16 feet as its largest available portable container size. By comparison, our 20-foot option provides up to 25% more storage space for Owensboro projects that may exceed a 16-foot container’s capacity.

When you’re ready, we pick up the container and take it to your new location or a secure off-site storage facility. Flexible rental periods let you keep it for as long as your project requires, with redelivery available when needed.

How to Estimate the Capacity You Need
Begin with the published range that matches the space involved: up to 800 square feet for a 12-foot container, approximately 800 to 1,200 square feet for a 16-foot container, or approximately 1,200 to 1,600 square feet for a 20-foot container. If your belongings place you near the top of a range, the next size may leave more practical room for loading and access.
