Why People Play Fantasy Football.

It is that time of year again when millions of people join Fantasy Football leagues and try to outdo each other.  But who and why do people love this growing pastime.

Watching the games becomes  more exciting and interesting.

Once you have a team full of players from several teams to root for, you’ll suddenly find that you have some ‘new’ favorite teams. You will now have several teams to root for at the same time. Do not pick too many “homers’ or you could end up hating your team.

We live for the bragging rights

Who doesn’t love a little competition–especially when they’re winning? It’s  great to have bets  and side bets with your pals.

You become a General Manger and Coach.

You can understand why some GM’s get praise and some get fired. A lot of players really enjoy the strategy involved in creating a well-balanced team and the consequences every move has.

It exercises your mind

Some people play board games or do Sudoku. Fantasy football is another way to keep your mind sharp.

Join the Crowd

The  consensus is that there are over 16 million fantasy football players, so you probably know people who play. If you are uncomfortable you can join a league on-line this year and get the hang of it for next year against your buddies. Either way you will need to devote some time to it to be successful.
