Go Mini’s® of Canton had a role to play in the making of the Charlestown, Boston based movie, “The Town“. Charlestown Productions used the minis to move their gear around Boston during filming last summer. The containers were fastened to flat-bed trucks for moving between filming locations.

The thriller, to be released in theaters September 17, 2010, stars Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner in an adaptation of author Chuck Hogan’s Hammett Prize-winning novel, “Prince of Thieves”. The story involves a crook and his gang who are hunted on the streets of Boston by a determined FBI agent and a woman with the power to bring them all to their knees.
