Question 9. Tell me about your transport vehicle and its
delivery systems.

The
GO MINI'S
transport vehicle is a roll-back truck
commonly referred to as a 'wrecker,' but with several modifications.
GO MINI'S
has an exclusive
contract with Chevron to make the bed of the truck to our exact
specifications. The bed of the truck has an aluminum base with guide rails
positioned specifically for
GO MINI'S
containers, and a safety
cable to secure the container. It has a hydraulic worm winch system for
smooth, even loading and unloading that virtually eliminates any load shift
potential.
The truck chassis can be
ordered in almost any make or model. You can choose from Ford, Nissan,
Freightliner, International or any other model our truck sales dealer has
the ability to acquire. Most dealers prefer to decide on which brand of
truck to purchase based on the location of the service center most
convenient to their dealership. It is also possible to add conveniences like
'air ride' or any other number of bells and whistles you prefer. The cost of
the truck is determined solely by our truck sales dealer.
GO MINI'S
does not markup the
truck's cost in any way and does not profit from the sale. It is
GO MINI'S
intention to provide
high quality, uniform equipment for all our dealers. This is just another
way to pass along savings to the dealership owners.
Once the truck is delivered
to you, you will be ready to deliver and pick-up
GO MINI'S
containers without any additional apparatus, such as a lift system. Because
GO MINI'S
containers are moved by trucks with a gross vehicle weight of less than
26,000 pounds, most states require the operator to have only a Class D
driver’s license.
We suggest that you purchase
one
GO MINI'S
transport truck per 100
containers in your inventory. No additional apparatus is needed to load and
unload containers.
We also offer a
GO MINI'S
Transport Trailer
with a revolutionary
design that can be used in tandem with the transport truck to haul two
containers at one time, or can be used alone with a heavy duty pick up truck
(2500 HD Chevrolet® pickup or larger). The design utilizes a “goose neck”
attachment which can be used for maneuvering in and out of tight areas.
The trailer has a 12,000 lb
electric winch, tilts at a low profile angle of only 10 degrees and is
capable of towing cars or vans. It is designed to handle all 4
GO MINI'S
container sizes. The pedestal is hydraulically operated so there is no
effort required when attached to or removing from the towing vehicle. |
