There are two types of services involving Portable storage units. The first type involves you having to carefully pack up all of your belongings, and then driving them to a storage facility all by yourself. Useful, but you have to get everything in your car, and then everything out of your car again and into storage. The second, and better way, is when Portable storage units are delivered to the customer. The customer then can take his time to pack those units as he sees fit. Then, once the packing is complete, the storage facility can pick up the Portable storage units, drive them off site, and place them into storage. Seems much easier, right? That’s the Go Mini’s model.
With Go Mini’s, you can choose to rent Portable storage units and keep them on your site; they don’t have to be stored at one of our facilities. That’s a good thing if you need to have those belongings or the storage unit close by and easily accessible. On the other hand, there are definite advantages to using an off-site storage facility. One is security – our facilities have complete security, including fire alarms.
Individuals use Portable storage units for temporary or permanent storage. A home owner who needs extra space can install Portable storage units on their property. If a home owner is planning to remodel or renovate their home, Portable storage units can be used to hold important furniture on site, and safe from weather and construction work.
Businesses also have different needs for Portable storage units. Businesses often need to store goods, extra inventory, documents, and equipment. On a temporary basis, storage units can be used some quick extra space, for example during construction. Sometimes, you have to deploy employees to remote client locations. If you are going for off-site storage, we will pick up your personal storage units whenever you are ready. We can store them safely and securely in an outside location, or we can store them indoors. Either way, your Portable storage units will live in a secure facility, with access granted by on-site personnel. In some locations, your local Go Mini’s dealer can offer you an indoor, climate controlled facility in which to keep your storage unit – something to consider if your stored items are susceptible to heat or to cold.
